New books will be displayed for 7 days located in the new arrival display case on the 1 st floor. |
Periodical Bibliography : |

Periodical bibliography is provided online. Readers my use this online periodical bibliography
to browse the newest periodical bibliography as well as bibliographies based on subjects or authors. The online
periodical bibliography also provides the library holding records so that readers could get to know the status of periodicals. |
Audio Video : |

Audio video Center is located on the 3 rd floor. Multimedia resources as well as TVs, video tape players and CD players are provided. |
> Reference Service : |

Reference librarians are available to assist with research needs on any topic. The reference
area is located on the 1 st floor of the Library. Reference service by phone or by email is also available. |
Interlibrary Cooperation |

Materials not held by library could be obtained via : |

organizations. The library would help readers to obtain
materials from cooperative libraries. |

library cards with the National Taiwan University Library
, the National Tsing Hua University Library and the National
Chiao Tung University Library. Faculty and students may
borrow the exchanged library cards at the Circulation Desk
to loan books from the card-exchanging libraries. |
Photocopy Service : |

Copy machines are available on the 1 st and 2 nd floors. Copy cards could be purchased at the Circulation Desk, 1 st floor. |
Reserved Books : |
| |
This service enables instructors to designate materials for specific courses as reserved books for the duration of the course. The reserved book case is located at the Circulation Desk, 1 st floor. Designated materials are not for circulation and are to be used in the library only. |
Library Usage Guide : |

Library provides library usage guide tours and seminars related to various library resources. |
Recommend Material For Collections : |
| |
Faculty and students could make recommendations to materials for collections.In general, the purchase of professional materials is proposed by departments, general books and journals are purchased according to the budget of the library. |
